More Jobs in Dearne Valley as TSC land new HBOS contract
Telecom Service Centres have brought a new name - and new jobs - to their rapidly expanding Dearne Valley operation.
TSC have won an important new telemarketing contract for financial giant Halifax Bank of Scotland and will run the HBOS business from their Sales Centre of Excellence which is based in the Dearne Valley site.
This latest business win continues the remarkable growth TSC have achieved since taking over the former T-Mobile operation at Dearne Valley in November 2004 and adding it to their nine-strong UK-wide network of contact centres.
Prior to the TSC take-over, there were only 320 employees at Dearne and worries that some of these would be lost overseas.
Not only have TSC safe-guarded these original jobs they have brought in a steady stream of new business and expanded the workforce to just over 670. They are confident that the new HBOS contract will be the catalyst that takes numbers close to 1000 as their telemarketing business expands.
While rightly proud of their customer service skills, TSC have recognised their customers need for a strong Telemarketing capability, and have invested heavily in bringing this to the Dearne Valley centre.
As recruitment for this contract begins, the company are confident that their Sales Centre of Excellence will expand as the HBOS contract increases and other new clients come in.
TSC’s Chief Executive Officer Ken Hills is delighted at this latest piece of new business.

Recruitment starts immediately with the company determined to bring in top quality personnel.
